Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy directs cy pres funds to KI

Nanci E. Nishimura, a partner at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, a San Francisco Bay Area-based law firm dedicated to prosecuting or defending socially just actions, recently arranged for the Korematsu Institute to receive a portion of a cy pres award (click here to learn more about cy pres awards). As a result, we received a gift of nearly $16,000 that will serve to help promote the enduring lessons of Fred Korematsu’s legacy as they relate to current civil and human rights issues in our community.
